Team Acheivements: 2008
20th June 2008 - Mercury 4yr Anniversary
21st April 2008 - Confirmed as Masters of Endurance Season 3 GT1 class winners, having won 4 of the 6 races, and the first time the 24hr race winner hasnt claimed the title. Also 2nd overall confirmed in GT2 for our second string.
5th April 2008 - First, and only team to enter a car into both classes for the full season, including 4x 6hr races, 1x 12hr race and 1x 24hr race.
5th April 2008 - Rnd6 of MoE, Series Finale at Kyoto National. Victory despite a close finish, title rivals #low having problems and finishing 4th. GT2 came home 3rd after getting engine damage within opening hour.
1st March 2008 - Rnd5 of MoE, GT1 Victory at Blackwood GP, and 3rd place in GT2 after a small mistake cost us having closely followed the lead car most of the race.
19th January 2008 - Rnd4 of MoE - Aston 24hr GP, Looked an easy double victory, but incidents saw the tables turn quickly, finishing a disappointing 6th and 3rd.
2007
18th December 2007 - Mercury team nominated for 6 LFS Community awards, including fastest driver, best team & best website.
24th November 2007 - Rnd3 of MoE, Another victory in GT1, the GT2 car also has a good result finishing 2nd place.
27th October 2007 - Rnd2 of MoE, Not a good venue for our car, but great results considering, the GT2 car takes the class victory while in GT1 we take the last podium spot.
29th September 2007 - Rnd1 of MoE, our first ever victory in the series in GT1, the GT2 car comes home in 5th.
28th September 2007 - 24hrs before MoE season 3 begins, Mercury has 2 cars entered, and will be challenging for both GT1 and GT2 titles.
29th July 2007 - Bawbag wins LX Month - week #3 picking up a Logitech G25 racing wheel.
15th July 2007 - Bawbag wins LX Month - week #1 winning a TrackIR 4.
4th July 2007 - Bawbag wins ESCC Championship.
31st May 2007 - PaulC2K wins UF1000 Owners club driver championship, RC10Racer & Viper pick up 2nd & 3rd too.
31st May 2007 - Mercury old farts crowned UF1000 Owners club team champions.
20th June 2007 - Mercury 3yr Anniversary
14th April 2007 - 1st in Battle of the Teams series 1, fielding 11 different drivers in the 8 races (2 per race).
14th March 2007 - Mercury confirmed as 4th place finishers in Masters of Endurance league Season 2 (06/07).
10th March 2007 - MoE Rnd 6, another step forward, this time taking second place.
10th February 2007 - Rnd 5, the penultimate round of MoE, After securing or first Pole position, it also comes with our first ever podium finish in the series.
13th January 2007 - The 24hr MoE race, our first full length endurance race and another solid performance with another 4th place finish.
2006
25th November 2006 - Rnd 3 of MoE, incidents at the beginning of race ruin our chances, but still finish 6th.
28th October 2006 - Rnd2 of MoE and a great result taking 4th place.
27th October 2006 - Application accepted to join the Masters of Endurance series for Round 2.
20th June 2006 - Mercury 2yr Anniversary
2005 to October 2006... God only knows, but we will see if anyone can think of something ;)
